About the event

There is currently a robust pipeline of long-acting HIV treatment modalities, which include long-acting orals , injections, and implants. While it’s hard to say which pipeline will ultimately be developed by generic manufacturers and made available, it’s clear the HIV treatment space is moving in a direction where long-acting products will eventually be available.

It is under this context that a readiness assessment was conducted to prepare the South African Health System for these products. Join us for this dissemination webinar as we discuss landscape assessment results with Key Opinion Leaders on structures and processes that can be leveraged to develop a roadmap that our National HIV Programme can use when these products become available.
