Insulin is used in the treatment of most types of diabetes. The need for insulin depends upon the degree of insulin deficiency. All people with type 1 diabetes need insulin treatment; many individuals with type 2 diabetes will require insulin as their beta cell function declines over time. This webinar will discuss available formulations of insulin, indications for use, when to use and monitoring of patients on insulin.
