Medical Officer with clinical experience in Emergency and General Medical Care

Dr Anastasya Papavarnavas is a medical officer with clinical experience in emergency and general medical care across both rural and urban healthcare settings in South Africa. She graduated Cum Laude with an MBChB from Stellenbosch University and completed her internship at RK Khan Regional Hospital in KwaZulu-Natal. She is currently completing a Postgraduate Diploma in Medical Toxicology and the CMSA Diploma in HIV Management, and has completed the CMSA Diploma in Primary Emergency Care. Her professional interests include toxicology, emergency medicine, medical education, public health, and ophthalmology. Dr Papavarnavas is passionate about using education to strengthen healthcare systems and improve patient outcomes, with a growing interest in public health leadership and equitable access to quality healthcare.
