Mr. Sifiso Dlamini

Sifiso Dlamini is a Nursing Educator, Midwifery Specialist, and PhD candidate in Nursing at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. He holds a Master of Nursing in Midwifery and Neonatal Nursing and a Bachelor of Nursing in Education and Administration (Advanced Accoucheur) from the University of Johannesburg.
With a strong academic and clinical background, he has lectured at several higher education institutions, including Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University, the University of Venda, and private nursing colleges. His teaching philosophy focuses on bridging theory and practice, equipping future
healthcare professionals with the knowledge, skills, and critical thinking required to deliver high-quality patient care.
Prior to his academic career, Mr Dlamini gained extensive clinical experience as a Professional Nurse and Advanced Accoucheur in maternal and neonatal healthcare, labour and delivery, and community health settings. His research interests include maternal and neonatal health, nursing education, advanced midwifery practice, and healthcare workforce development. Passionate about advancing excellence in nursing education and strengthening healthcare systems, he is committed to developing competent healthcare professionals and contributing to improved health outcomes across South Africa.
