Dr. Peter Afolayan earned his MBBCh at the University of Witwatersrand and completed
postgraduate studies (MMed Urol) at UKZN and FC Urol (SA). With a strong focus on
minimally invasive procedures and evidence-based practice, he further trained in minimally
invasive surgery in Orlando, USA.
Dr. Afolayan specializes in treating various urological conditions, including kidney stones,
prostate disorders, urinary incontinence, bladder prolapse, erectile dysfunction, male
infertility, and female pelvic floor disorders. His contributions to the field include a
publication on penile cancer management.
Currently practicing in the private sector, he is based at Netcare N17 Hospital in Springs and
Busamed Hospital, offering advanced and compassionate care using the latest techniques.
